There were lots of worthy submissions this month, however Dale's machine pictured in the snow seemed to be the perfect match for the cold February weather. Sweet paint job on the canopy...love the detail of the Dragon!!! Bill's Stinger 90 is equipped with a Thunder Tiger 90 engine, a Telebee GR701 gyro with a Hitec HS525BB on the tail. Bill is using an Airtronics RD6000 Sport radio with HS645MG servos on the collective & cyclic, and Airtronics 94322 on the throttle. Very Nice! Way to go Bill! He's been flying for about a year and a half and his flying skills are really improving. For the canopy, Rodney used candy yellow and black from R-M automotive over a silver base coat and Limco paint for a final clear coat. His Stinger is equipped with a full aluminum head assembly, aluminum swashplate, aluminum guide pulleys, the aluminum 8 tooth speedup tail pulley, black carbon fiber fin set, Gohbee 600mm CF main blades, MAH 90mm CF tail blades, Curtis MPII, boom mounted servo, and Stinger 60/90 size landing skid set. Congratulations to Andrew Deshong! Andrew's Stinger 90 is featured on our May desktop calender.(available above) His Stinger 90 has the metal washout links and metal mixer lever upgrades. Also he is using a boom mounted servo mount. He installed a YS .80 engine, using the 8.45:1 gear ratio and 680 mm carbon fiber blades. The fuselage is finished in R-M automotive paints. The color is Candy Orange over white and silver base coats and 3 coats of LIMCO clearcoat. Good job Andrew!

- Aluminum 8 Tooth Tail Speedup Drive Pulley - The stock tail ratio on the Stinger 30/50 (and Raptor) is 4.44. This is an acceptable ratio for beginner to intermediate pilots. However, if you like to do things in fast reverse, then you need this speedup drive pulley. The new drive pulley bumps this ratio up to 5.0 giving you more tail holding power in backwards flight. Use the heat shrink tubing included to help encapsulate the dowell pin that locks the pulley to the tail shaft. ...and oh yea, the speedup tail drive pulley will work for Raptor owners as well! Give it a try; we think you'll like the results!
- Carbon Fiber Blades, Fins, & Booms – Introducing our line of CF main blades, tail blades, booms & fins! We're now shipping 600mm CF blades! - Tail Speedup Gear for Stinger 30/50 - You've asked for a higher tail ratio for the the Stinger 30/50. We're gonna deliver! We'll be introducing an 8 Tooth Tail Pulley that will increase the tail ratio from 4.44 to 5.00. We've been testing the new ratio for the past several months. With the new tail pulley the tail holds rock solid during backwards flight through high collective maneuvers. Oh yeah...this gear will fit Raptors as well!
- On Edge Damper System for the Raptor 30/50 - The One Edge Damper System has worked so well on the Stingers; we decided to apply the design principles to a version that fits a Raptor head. Looks like it's going to be a winner here as well!
- 4mm Flybar Kit for Stinger 30/50 - You've asked for a stiffer flybar on a 50 size machine. We've been testing this one since last summer. Look for this kit to take your Stinger 50 to a new level of 3D performance!
- CARBON FIBER ROTOR BLADES & ACCESSORIES - We will soon be introducting our own line of CF Main Rotor Blades and Tail Blades! We're also introducing Fiberglass blades as well. In fact we already have our 680mm Fiberglass blades available now. We'll have CF tail fins, tail booms and tail servo mounts as well!

Checkout the new On Edge damper system for the Stinger head! This is the ultimate damping system for maximum rigidity. For use with aluminum and plastic head blocks. The On Edge system isolates radial and lateral forces for responsive yet smooth control. We recommend the On Edge system as the preferred damping solution for aluminum head blocks. The "3D" system is still a great system for plastic head blocks requiring less rigidity. For correct installation of the On Edge damper, the I.D. O-Ring should be inserted toward the center of the head block. In other words, the I.D. O-Ring should not be adjacent the rotor grips. Available with 70 or 90 durometer O-Rings. Give these a try! We think you'll like them!
